Telemark Ski SeriesTelemark Ski Series Introducing the first day in our lineup for the series; the Alberta Telemark Ski Club will be at Lake Louise Ski Area on Sunday, Dec.13th. The series is designed to offer skiers of intermediate to expert abilities the opportunity to meet other freeheelers on hill in a social setting. All participants are responsible for securing their own lift tickets, meals, and transportation; dress appropriately! This is not an instructional clinic, although it is a way to enjoy the sport with other freeheelers who love to ski. ClinicsAlberta Telemark Events Listing Jan. 15, 22, & 29, 2010 – Norquay (Friday Night Tele Tune-Ups) Join us on Friday nights to improve your technique. These clinics are aimed at beginner to intermediate skiers who want to further their abilities. The clinics are free to all club members; annual memberships may be purchased at the clinics for only $20. A single night clinic can be paid with a Special Event membership for a mere $5. Please arrive at 6:30 pm to allow for registration, clinics will last approximately from 7pm to 9pm. Participants are responsible for their own lift tickets. March 13 & 14, 2010 – Marmot Basin (Alberta Cup) A Weekend Tele Festival at Marmot Basin, which will consist of morning and afternoon clinics on Saturday and a GS Race on Sunday.
